According to Bell & Ross CEO Carlos Rosillo, “In the car industry the engineering inside is even more important than what’s outside, which is why in a lot of sports cars you can see through the engine. This is an engine custom-made for Bell & Ross. And in watchmaking, the beauty of a skeleton is that you can show the sophistication of the movement without taking it off and looking through the back.”

The Movement

A blue tinted sapphire crystal dial reveals the skeletonized BR Cal. 322 movement underneath.  The blue transparent dial houses the applique indices and hands coated with Super-Luminova for optimum visibility.

The base Sellita movement has been heavily modified by the brand Bell & Ross has shaved off all excess material from the base Sellita SW300 movement to create the skeletonized movement it calls the BR Cal. 322. It is fitted with an open-worked blue tone rotor to showcase the transparency of the movement. The brand’s logo is metallized on the sapphire caseback.
